Deux par deux

The Deux par deux clips, directed by Sandrick Mathurin, were produced by the Théâtre de Quat’Sous as a presentation of the artists making the fall 2021 theatrical season possible. Each interview presents artist duos, which made the project title come to mind quite naturally. This was the starting point in the development of the animated opening. The screen being constantly split into two parts expresses the duality, while the graphic interplay of the ​“2s”, sometimes textual, sometimes digital, punctuates the sequence; all on a slightly abrasive soundtrack and a colour palette limited to black and white to create a strong visual impact.
