L’institut national de l’image et du son (L’inis) is a leading player in the audiovisual and digital production ecosystem in Quebec and French-speaking Canada. Following the overhaul of some of its programs, and working in a competitive field where the offer is abundant, L’inis needed to update its brand image. The staircase was the obvious choice, as it represented the idea of professional advancement that the institute offers. It breaks down into pixels to evoke the notion of a screen, and sometimes metamorphoses into typography to highlight a lexicon of keywords.
