Located in the heart of the Montréal Quartier des Spectacles, Le Central is a gourmet stopover bringing together more than 20 restaurants in an eclectic and festive setting, a bright reflection of the city’s creativity. Despite its impressive size, its visibility from the street remains rather limited. The premises next door being vacant, Le Central took this as an opportunity to occupy the empty windows to maximize its street presence. We were asked to fill this huge surface. The temporary installation took place at the end of summer 2021. A giant flower garden was created there in collaboration with illustrator Mathieu Labrecque, known for his raw and playful style. With a portion of this mural projected, we made the flowers dance in the lively section of the garden. A second mural, more in tune with the graphic platform of Le Central, was also designed near the Saint-Laurent Street entrance.
