The 24 – 25 season of the Théâtre de Quat’Sous marks a major turning point for this iconic institution on Avenue des Pins. With Catherine Vidal and Xavier Inchauspé taking over as artistic directors, the theater is embarking on an ambitious transformation, now under the name 4’SOUS. This renewal is reflected in a bold program, opening up to international playwriting while pushing the boundaries of traditional theater. Through the Zones de turbulences series, 4’SOUS brings the performing arts into dialogue with unexpected disciplines, such as wrestling or Hip Hop, creating a rich and vibrant space for exploration for both artists and audiences.

With the change in artistic direction, a break from previous seasons became necessary, setting a new course reflected even in the season’s visuals. To root this change in the unique identity of 4’SOUS and its deep connection to the neighborhood, the season’s artists were photographed in iconic locations surrounding the theater, such as the Else’s restaurant and Cinéma du Parc, capturing the vibrant essence of this community.
