Woodrise

Woodrise is a world congress on mid-rise and high-rise wooden buildings. The second edition, organized in 2019 by FPInnovations (Canada) and the FCBA Technology Institute (France), took place in Quebec City and focused on the theme Building our cities for future generations. This international forum brings together more than 1,000 stakeholders, decision-makers and professionals in the field of wood construction representing 20 countries. OPC Events mandated us to create a visual identity along with variations for the congress. Wood and its formal potential were the starting point of the project. We first designed a set of linear modules, in reference to the notion of plane, which interact with the signature of the event. Volumes and textures of wood were then modeled and complete the visual platform of the event.
